The Autism Program (TAP) is a state-wide network of resources for Autism Spectrum Disorders in the state of Illinois. The mission of TAP is to foster development of community networks that promote best practice in the diagnosis, support, and education of all individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Locally, TAP offers a Resource Room, visual supports, new diagnosis orientations, consultations, social skill groups, and trainings. TAP also supports neurodivergent students at the University of Illinois and offers internship opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students.
