The Arc of Illinois advocates for funding and legislation to benefit people with disabilities and provides training opportunities for families and professionals. Illinois Life Span provides statewide information and resources focused on advocacy, services, and supports for people with I/DD. The Family to Family Health Information Center provides information focused on health and insurance issues for families of children and youth with special health care needs. The Family Support Network works to unify individuals with disabilities and their families to advocate for funding, services and community resources that strengthen and support the individual and family. The Ligas Family Advocate Program provides family to family advocacy support for Ligas Class Members. The Family Transition Project, Consumer Stipend Program, and Assistive Technology Program are also under The Arc of Illinois.
