DRES is the disability services office at the University of Illinois campus. We are one of the leading support programs in higher education for people with disabilities and were the first in the nation to begin providing these support services. Our mission is to ensure that qualified individuals with disabilities are afforded an equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from the curricular, co-curricular, and vocational opportunities available at the University of Illinois. We accomplish this through the collaborative promotion, provision, and pursuit of innovative accommodative and educational services, and interdisciplinary disability research.
