The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District offers an array of services and programs that reach people of all ages and from all walks of life. Pregnancy care, nutrition advice, educational support, supplemental food coupons, pregnancy tests, genetics referrals and breastfeeding support. People living with HIV and AIDS rely on us for case management, flu, pneumonia shots and other immunizations. We inspect food and drink establishments, and tanning facilities. We conduct lead investigations, license wells and provide food-handling instruction. We investigate disease outbreaks that could threaten community health, and we are part of a county-wide emergency preparedness team.
