The Champaign Urbana Theatre Company, a non-profit 501(c)3 community theatre organization, is pleased to offer The Penguin Project. Our two initial productions were Disney’s Aladdin, Jr. and Mulan, Jr. These productions are unique because all of the roles are filled by youth with developmental disabilities. By creating unrestricted access to the performing arts, The Penguin Project demonstrates that the special challenges of a disability need not handicap a child’s ability to participate in life’s experiences.
