WEFT is a non-profit volunteer-operated community radio station whose mission is to serve underserved people. Disability Beat is a 30 minute weekly public affairs program that has aired on WEFT for more than 15 years. The goal of this program is to promote resources and events that benefit people with disabilities and to tell their stories to the larger community to increase understanding, opportunities and inclusion.
